a quote from my family, once a week, every week.

lady: you're my best boy! (to her papa)

kiddo: mum, if you go up above the clouds it's black, not blue. even in the morning. because it's space.

teenager: (on the passing of time) I waited my whole life to go to disneyland because you promised we'd go. and now that's already 5 years ago. (and then he kissed me on my cheek. he had to lean down to do so.)

lady: somebody's in there! (when I sliced open an avocado and she saw the seed)

kiddo: I wish I had a horn
me: why?
kiddo: so I could jump out at people from bushes and surprise them.
