sneak peek : country road autumn winter 2014

posted on: Thursday, December 5, 2013

last week the lady and I trotted along to preview the threads for next season country road. she was very into it.

she ran to all the lovely displays to get a true hands-on experience. here she is playing teasets with the real china and giving me a mini heart attack.

and trying on all the felt hats and handbags. isn't the colour palette comforting? I often find myself gravitating to monochromes and neutrals for my own clothing and accessories.

the dinnerware the lady was so taken by in an appealing shade that I would like to call marshmallow pink.

women's wear to the left. I will definitely be trying that gorgeous white jacket on for size. and children's wear to the right. lots of bold checks and shirtdresses in denims, navy and red. (love).

children's accessories: pink canvas tree print duffle, grey felt hat and silver boots.

these were just some of my faves. what do you think?

    1. I was def nervous. she was also eating a big juicy strawberry while she was running around. it's a miracle nothing got strawberry printed.

  2. Lucky girl..I actually want the pine tree bag and boots that you said are the girls items!! I was actually in country road yesterday and bought the pineapple boys towel for myself..its big enough for me to lay on. I guess the moral here is that they should make the kids things in bigger sizes..lol. the blog is looking great by the way. nicolex
