Because I loved hearing about all the toddler faves when it was Literacy and Numeracy week I asked Bron of Maxabella Loves... what her gorgeous school-age kiddos (Max, 8, Arrabella, 7 and Lottie, 5) are appreciating now that it's Book Week.
She said, "Our fave book as a family is Astrid Lindgren's Pippi Longstocking. We like this Lauren Child illustrated version. Max's favourite is The Brilliant World of Tom Gates by L. Pichon (but don't tell him it was written by a girl). Ari isn't a big reader, but right now she's loving Sally Gardner's The Strongest Girl in the World (she can probably relate!). Lottie's all-time, hands-down favourite book is Kate Knapp's Ruby Red Shoes. Kate has a new book coming out soon where Ruby goes to Paris and we can't wait!"
Thanks for sharing your family's faves Bron! You can find Bron over at Maxabella Loves... and Village Voices.
This week we're celebrating Book Week in Australia with a couple of lovely mamas, their kiddos and their books.
