book love : lila + eve {from little wolff}

Adorable Eve (2) in Mildura is another wee kiddo with a couple of older siblings on hand to cater to her reading requests.

Lila, said, "We read a wide range of books and my favourites either have a great cadence in the writing or interactivity. My (current) favourite mostly for the way we read it is Hugless Douglas by David Melling. I get to do silly voices for the different characters and at the end where Douglas gets his hug Eve always turns around and gives me a big hug. Other books we love because of the rhythm are the Hairy MacLary books and Noni the Pony. We've also had a ton of fun with Press Here."

Thanks for sharing with us Lila and Eve! You can read more of Lila and Eve's adventures at Little Wolff.

This week we're celebrating Australian National Literacy and Numeracy Week with a few lovely mamas, their wee ones and their books.

  1. I haven't read this one...I will have to look for it at the library.
    We love Hairy MacLary too...especially the books that feature Scarface Claw!

  2. I love this! I've never read the book but now I want to. I'm a sucker for rhyme... I want to be a cross between Roald Dahl and Dr Seuss :)
