room for kids : forest green

If, hypothetically speaking, my littles had a playroom that they one day outgrew, this type of design would be a great solution. Isn't it neat?

"This is one of my favourite colour schemes to date," admitted Nicole from Little Liberty . "Grey and green -- so perfect for an older kids' study/chill out zone! It's fresh and modern with a pop of glorious grassy green."

"I can't go passed the Ikea pods above desks -- such a fabulous storage option for pens and they keep the desk nice and neat and free from clutter. The charcoal felt custom pinboards are a practical option for above the desk while being a nice design feature at the same time."

"My favourite finds for this job include the gorgeous green wicker pendant, grey and white chevron rug and fun army bookends. I also love the custom built-in banquette seating and desk which I designed myself."

"I'm slightly obsessed with cross stitching at the moment and incorporated it onto the custom banquette seating pillows. The TV is directly opposite so there's lots of room for friends to lounge around on. I also included practical in-built storage for toys."

Thanks for sharing this fun space with us Nicole! You can find more of Nicole's design work at Little Liberty.

  1. Great room! I love B&W with accents of colour... well I must as that is what I did for Jarvis's room.
