Portraits of one or more of my children once a week, every week in 2013.

Her: This morning before daycare. Holding her beloved Cleo and wearing her new-to-her vintage overalls and a headband.

Apparently our wee lady is always a bit sad that she can't join in when they play hairdressers at daycare (pesky lack of hair situ) so her carers asked if I could pop a headband on her. I must say she was very pleased to wear it.

Other adorable portraits this week: a flower baby on little sleep, sweet wee Quinn on life, love and syntax and a flying Lola on Sokici na cestach.

Joining in with Jodi's 52 week portrait project.

  1. I would not worry about the lack of hair. I was bald until two and so was my eldest. Not sure if it is an old wives tale or not, but have been told the later the hair grows the thicker it will be.

  2. I was also bald unti I was two...I was actually surprised when Toddler C started sprouting hair when he was only a few months old!
And he loves when they play hairdresser at child care too. Since his hair is so curly I never comb it and I think he must like the feeling. He often comes home with little pigtails!

    1. it's cool to hear about you guys being bald till two. the boys both had hair from birth and the kiddo's hair has always been particularly abundant.

I also asked the lady's carers if the boys had their hair done too. of course! they replied :)

  3. She is like a princes on this photo. When I was 1 year my mom cut all my hair and I was actually bold. So I can understand how it is. But she's just Little cutie so she don't have t worry!
