Portraits of one or more of my children once a week, every week in 2013.

Her: So happy to have a little walk up and down our street. There may have been some face-scrunching, back-arching resistance when it was time to be picked up to go indoors for lunch.

I didn't think I would be a huge fan of pink for this lady, but I'm finding that I love it. I think it reminds me of my own childhood. (Plus her brother is totally an enabler ;)

Pretty portraits elsewhere this week: the kid and her 'brella on Ellieboo, Lily in the mist on Living, Loving, Laughing, and a darling girl pondering beneath autumn leaves on Modern Day Mummying.

Happy long weekend lovelies! What are you up to?

Joining in with Jodi's 52 week portrait project.

  1. The pink is adorable on her, I also have a reluctance with pink on Eve but it does look good.

  2. Gotta love the back arching resistance....

  3. Those cheeks! I'm sure Rose is just as gorgeous with a scrunched up face. Beautiful photo x

  4. your little lady looks stunning in pink...so so pretty.

i know what you mean, i didn't think i'd be a fan of pink for olive, but there are some shades that are just so lovely. and now that she's older, i'm really enjoying the pink -- just not anything frilly.

  5. Ahhh yes...the resistance. Since he is now a hefty two year old and I can no longer physically wrangle him, Toddler C often wins those battles and gets to keep walking.

  6. Pink is really awesome for her. Beautiful snap, I think purple would also be fine.
