who sews at little old souls?
The gorgeous Bettina Rae! She started getting serious about sewing when, "My hormone-laden brain decided sewing 40-odd cloth nappies was the best way to prepare for a new baby." A whole lotta practice and one little boy later and Bettina has launched her own store stocked with sweet, sometimes vintage-inspired outfits for boys and girls in new and upcycled fabrics. Aren't they lovely?

  4. Bettina is so clever. That grey coat is ridiculous (love it). I always pass the boys clothes and wonder why they are emblazoned with words/numbers/irrelevant graphics. Simple, classic with a vintage pattern thrown in - that's what I'd like to see more of for boys. Did you see the latest post on Cup of Jo with the little boy in Madrid wearing braces?!? THE cutest x

    1. Thank you! I had to make a second version of that coat for my son, because I love it so much!

  5. My kids are skinny and tall, so I'm always on the lookout for tops and pants that are long enough for them, usually they are "harry highpants" which is really not a great look. I'm also a fan of plain design and quiet, neutral colours.

  6. Shirts and shorts that can be easily mixed-and-matched across the range, and that are tough enough to withstand my little man!

  7. I wish I could find proper baby boy clothes, so many of the items are mini versions of adult clothes. I want my little man to be a baby as long as possible, he will have plenty of time for grown up clothes when he's older.

  8. Handsome going out clothes for little boys (good quality and reasonably priced) is on my list - shirts, pants and bow ties. Clothing in bright colours - yellow, green and teal would be nice on boys too but I hardly ever see this!
