easter : parading and crafting

posted on: Tuesday, March 26, 2013

Do your littles have an Easter Hat Parade at school? The kiddo has his first one this week.

He is totally the parading and crafting type and decided to make a Pirate Easter Bunny Hat. His idea. I'll let you know how that turns out :)

If you're looking for some other fun ideas you might like to:

Make a paper bag mask (above) or jelly eggs like Jordan on Oh Happy Day.

Craft a tissue paper wreath like they did on Happy Hoolligans.

Make a Bunny Kite like Hazel at the Art Room.

Handpaint wooden eggs cups like Etsy artist Jess Quinn.

Or print out the cutest Paper Easter Bunny Doll from artist Jennifer A. Bell.

Will your kiddos be parading or crafting this week? Did you have parades and the like when you were in school? I'd love to hear!

  1. I love those masks!
I wish that grocery stores in Australia had a paper bag option...they really come in handy for so many things!

    1. hmm, that's a good point caitlin. I guess you could use a box instead for this craft?

  2. Those masks are a great idea! I don't have kids but I think it would still be a lot of fun for a date night and then a little photo session! :)

    1. he, he -- that would be hilarious Vanisha -- why should kids have all the fun? ;)

  3. Those paper bag masks are beyond amazing! Thanks so much for sharing the link!

    1. you're welcome, oh happy day has such cute ideas. I believe this craft was by Irene Yu.

  4. We actually ended up booking a round-trip from an attractions site with lunch included to clearwater beach, as we had trouble finding a reliable cheap coach site that did hotel pickup.
