fun stuff : cosmo pregnancy magazine

This time last year I was as big as a house and as excited as I've ever been. I was on the homestretch to giving birth and meeting the little baby I'd been growing for most of the year! I recorded my pregnancy's progress here on the blog, but I also kept a week-by-week diary for Cosmopolitan Pregnancy Australia.

Now that the lady is nearly one year-old it's so fun to read back over my journey -- all those things you think you'll remember forever but forget so quickly (like the way I was sleeping on the floor in my third trimester, or my lamb chop obsession in first trimester, hah!).

If you'd like to see, Cosmopolitan Pregnancy Australia, Issue 26 is on newsstands now :)

Did you keep a diary through your pregnancy? Or if you're pregnant now are you taking notes? I'd love to hear!

p.s Some of my fave online maternity series if you haven't seen them already: Bleubird Vintage, Pacing The Panic Room and Carolee Beckham.

    1. thanks Anna! I made the special Cosmo effort.there were plenty of baggy pant, non-glowing skin days too... but those pics would not have been in keeping with the theme ;)

  3. Lovely! I loved your photos. I'd be curious to know about some of the interesting ways mothers have been tracking their progress. Like how they take their photos, what journaling methods they use. I love the ability to have a look back at all the moments when it's so easy to forget :)

Wouldn't it be lovely if husbands did this as a surprise for moms - what they remember for their wives? GREAT GIFT!

  4. Love this current issue of Cosmo Pregnancy and stories like yours. Makes me feel a little more normal. I keep a journal of my journey with this pregnancy (my first) because the aim is to be able to give it to my daughter (or daughter in law) so show what I went through, and so if I have another one then I can remember what the first was like. So far this pregnancy has been brutal but I;m sure it will be worth it in the end (hard to imagine when Im going through it though).

    1. it feels like it will never end which is quite a surreal feeling isn't it? I also kept a record of my second pregnancy and often looked at it with my third to see if it was similar. I know I would also have been fascinated to know what my mum's time was like when she was pregnant with me. good luck for the months ahead keira, I'd love to know how it goes!

  5. You're the prettiest pregnant lady! How's life with three kids going? In my case, sometimes it's chaotic, otherwise, it's wonderful.
