7 weeks! It's been a week of firsts for miss baby here. First immunisations (ouch), first Valentine's Day and train ride to the city (lunch date with the dad man), first dinner out (sushi!), first time meeting a wee chap whom I'm sure will be her lovely little friend (his mama and I have known each other since high school and were pregnant at the same time :) and first car accident (boo). Apart from her sleeping pattern being a bit thrown out by the dinner and the needle, this little lady has been smiling, staring and mewing along sweetly. Her little coos sound like tiny kitten mews.
It took four days to get her sleeping pattern back to normal. I've been asked to expand on her settling routine so I'm planning a post where I'll do just that :)For now I can say that she is one contented little lady. We are super, super lucky and feel so grateful. Every day.

p.s The car accident wasn't bad but it was scary. I cried.

she's more and more beautiful Bron, that's wonderful how fast they learn to interact with the world isn't it?
ReplyDeleteYour Little bubba is just beautiful and we love a happy, smiley baby. I bought the same jumpsuit - how gorgeous is it!!!! Cotton Kids have some lovely baby girl clothes in there at the moment. Good work on braving the train - I haven't worked up to that yet! :D
ReplyDeletei can't believe it's 7 weeks already! she looks more alert now and her eyes are so beautiful! love her outfit as always. yeah, i hate it when they have to get their vaccinations. i almost always shed a tear or two:-(. i'm sorry to hear about the car accident, but very happy that it wasn't a bad one, very scary nonetheless, i'm sure...
ReplyDeleteP.S. You take really great pics. i need to work on that or probably read the manual that came with my camera:-)
Wow.... she is gorgeous. What a beautiful happy baby! I can't believe my little one is 3 months already, it seems like yesterday I brought him home from the hospital. Time goes by way too fast!
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful baby! and i love her little outfit -- i'm yet to find a cottonon kids near me, but know that when i do my bank account is not going to thank me for it!
ReplyDeleteis that a little dimple i spied? how sweet!
Lizzy -- She loved the train but I did find myself a bit err, over aware of any passenger that coughed or sneezed in her direction.
ReplyDeleteStacey -- I haven't actually read the manual *yet*. We just have a v clever camera (Canon 7D). I really must learn how it works properly one of these days!
awww how cute is she!!!! that little outfit is too sweet!!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear she is doing so well xox
That is one pretty girl you have there. The jumpsuit is timeless. I had a similar one for Lala and could never find one for Shorty. Next time I'll know where to look!
ReplyDeleteShe's just so pretty Bron, I especially love that third last photo - such beautiful eyes. Glad your car accident wasn't serious. Sophie has her 4 month old needles this Wednesday :( Would love to read more about your settling routine x
ReplyDeleteOh my god! She's already laughing! She's really beautiful, and the outfit so cute!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures - wow they do vaccines early down under - here we had the first at 3 months. and yes the sleep pattern was out of wack for a while. Here we're about to have the 5 month vaccine - not looking forward to it... Have a nice day - love from me in Copenhagen PS how long is the maternity leave in Australia?
ReplyDeleteOh she is adorable Bron! So pretty. As for the car accident - I would have sobbed. Happy to hear you're all ok x
ReplyDeleteBron, she is soooooo gorgeous! What gorgeous dark looks she has. And she seems so alert at only 7 weeks. Keep soaking up that delicious newborn 'littleness'! Bonne semaine x
ReplyDeleteShe's so gorgeous and delicate and delicious!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're all safe and sound. What a fright that would have been with a newborn in tow! xx
Oh Bron! She's just scrumptious. I adore that 'first smiling' stage - it truly reminds you why the sleep deprivation is worth it! J x
ReplyDeleteWhat a week! (Sorry about the shots and the accident! BOO!) She is growing so beautifully! Ooooh its enough to want me to have another...
ReplyDeleteAlthough the sassy talk I've been getting from Stella (who is currently sitting in time out while I write this) is enough to cancel out the urge.
Regardless, that little Rosie is enough to melt any heart.
Oh Rose you are irresistable in that romper (i'm heading over to check out the link right now for Josephine!)
ReplyDeleteSO glad to hear you guys are ok. I would have cried too. Sending you all lots of love xx
