Sweet and sophisticated with a subtle air of luxury.
who lives here?
Dane, 19 months in Palm Beach, Florida, USA.
"Alfred" the deer head was from Z Gallerie, the Ikat pillow was from eBay and the hand woven toy basket was from Senegal, Africa.
Eggshell White paint by Glidden.
The crib is by Amy Coe purchased at Babies 'R' Us, the 1960s rustic bench was found at a vintage store, the antique horse rocker was from eBay and the leopard stool was from a Heywood Wakefield vanity.
The pink-tipped curtains were hand-dyed.
"This room was previously a drab dark room in the back of the house. We removed carpet and refinished the terrazzo floors," explained mum, Megan."We made the teepee out of wood stakes, o rings and upholstery fabric. We hand dyed the curtains and painted the deer head white to match the walls."
Megan made the pink cross with wood and drywall and the mobile was handmade with chandelier prisms and wire.
"The antique rocking horse was $3.00 USD on eBay! A total steal! Also, making our own mobile was really economical, as they can be pretty expensive."

The pink-tipped curtains. Such a lovely idea and a great way to add a touch of colour.
Megan says, "Paint the room with bright white and bring in just a little of three types of décor: natural, colourful and patterned."
Thank you so much Dane, Megan and the Martin family for sharing your space with baby space!
