The Baby Space toddler (soon to be preschooler! It's his last day in the toddler room at day care today -- but I digress) loves Santa. He was quite excited when he spotted these kitsch vintage snaps of Santa's Villages.

Personally I've been loving gingerbread houses this year...

This is a snap of Santa's Village Gingerbread House Bakery. Do you suppose one could get a builder to agree to make a regular house roof look like gooey pink icing?

Santa's Doll Shop. So much vintagey toy goodness.

So this is where the Villages resided once upon a time. What a truly awesome little map. Be still my vintage-typography-loving heart.

Do you have any cute old Santa/Christmas pics/paraphernalia that you like to reminisce over?

  3. I love, love these pics, especially that Gingerbread house! I've been meaning to stop by for sometime now, but life is chaotic but good chaos(just sold my house, so i've been packing, looking for a temporary place until we move into the new house next year). I'm happy we met too and look forward to enjoying each others company next year! Merry Christmas Bron; to you and your wonderful family! Hugs!!
