coastal livingWhen you were a kid did you share your room? I grew up as an only child and watched as my friends battled their siblings for space and drew imaginary lines down the room with their toes. But this was when they were already in middle childhood. I didn't see what happened earlier. Did they enjoy the company? The shared toys and games? Or were they always itching to get their own space?
nie tylko dzieciakiMy toddler and teen have separate rooms but mostly because after a decade of having his own space I figured my first born would have felt somewhat, err, inconvenienced? Displaced? Not to mention that the Baby Space toddler was not the heaviest sleeper.

If we add another to our clan I'm imagining the new little thing will just bunk in with the toddler. Of course this does throw up the restraints of decorating for two. All the mums I know who have two or more kids pop them in together, and not always because of space constraints - the kidlets seem happy enough. So what about you? Would you put two to a room?

I love that second room! It is so inviting looking. LOVE it!!
ReplyDeletethese are lovely! I just love how sunny and bright they are. Yes, I shared a room with my younger sister...we went through a day bed/trundle bed period but my favorite was the two matching twin beds!
ReplyDeleteMy brother (1 year younger) and I shared a room until I was 5. I remember it being a lot of fun, but we had to change who was on the top bunk every week.
